iPod nano is very good as a walkaround mp3 player. my only complaint is that the included headphones lack good bass. I replaced it with the Sennheiser CX-300 and the sound was awesome.

I've found that Floola (small free app for Windows, OSX and even Linux) won't crash the 2G nano. After using iTunes' horrible interface twice I found Floola and never looked back. Get it from floola.com and say goodbye to nano crashes.
